Hi NTI Learner,

Pressing forward is all about striving to do better and be better. A key part of becoming a better person is being more supportive and understanding of everyone, regardless of their abilities. This means creating environments that recognise the unique needs of people with disabilities and providing the tools to help them succeed. Take one of our recommended courses and learn how to create more accessible, empathetic spaces in your classroom, workplace, and community.

“Just Keep Swimming”

Tune in to Midweek Mindset for a special episode with Naomi Jordan, a Lower 6 student at Harrison College who is on a mission to raise awareness about the challenges faced by differently-abled students. Diagnosed with dyslexia at 13 years old, Naomi has experienced firsthand the stigma, discrimination, and lack of empathy that often surrounds learning disabilities. Now, she’s giving back by launching the Let Me Read campaign to raise funds for specialised reading equipment for vision-impaired students at the Irving Wilson School.
